Filter Pads

Filter pads capture suspended solids and fish waste in your pond water. Additionally they support the growth of beneficial bacteria that actively breaks down waste and promotes healthy pond water. Over a year’s time these mats are prone to become clogged with this same debris that in turn inhibits the effectiveness of this filtration process. While it is possible to simply rinse off and clean these pads we always recommend replacing all filter pads in your pond filtration system with new ones to achieve maximum water flow and filtration for your pond.
